Internal Compliance Committee
PDEA's Shankarrao Bhelke Arts, Commerce and Science College is committed to maintaining an environment free from harassment, discrimination, and bullying. The institution ensures that appropriate policies are in place to uphold respect and dignity for all stakeholders. Misconduct is addressed through due disciplinary procedures and, in serious cases, may result in expulsion or dismissal.

Objectives of the Grievance Redressal Committee
- Address grievances that cannot be resolved through routine procedures.
- Resolve issues amicably within a reasonable, defined timeline.
- Provide reliable and fair solutions to grievances raised by students, staff, or parents.
- Ensure impartial, timely, and confidential handling of grievances.

Functions and Responsibilities
- Create awareness about the Internal Compliance Committee across all units.
- Promote communication and coordination among compliance stakeholders.
- Ensure complainants and witnesses are protected from victimization or discrimination.
- Encourage open dialogue between complainants and committee members.
- Monitor emerging compliance trends and share updates as needed.
- Support development and refinement of compliance-related processes and collaborate with the University Policy Review Committee.
- Recommend necessary actions and resources to senior management for institutional compliance.
- ICC monitors the Grievance Redressal Committee, Anti-Harassment/Anti-Ragging Committee, SC/ST Cell, OBC Cell, and Examination Grievances Cell. The institutional grievance mechanism ensures transparent and accessible procedures for resolving legitimate concerns from students and staff. Grievances may be submitted in writing to the Chairman, Grievance Redressal Committee, or via email. Each grievance is addressed systematically with department-level cooperation, ensuring confidentiality throughout the process.
