Research and Academic Achievements of the Department:
Dr. R. B. Dhakane is an accomplished academician, researcher, and teacher in the field of English studies. He has made significant contributions to teaching, research, and academic administration. At present, 4 Ph.D. research scholars are pursuing their doctoral research under his supervision.
Dr. Dhakane has published several research papers and articles in reputed national and international journals. His areas of academic interest include Indian Diaspora Studies, postcolonial literature, cultural studies, and English language teaching. He has also authored the book Indian Diaspora: Theory, Text and Criticism, which reflects his scholarly engagement with diaspora literature and criticism.
In addition to his research contributions, Dr. Dhakane has served as a Subject Expert and Chairperson in various academic committees, seminars, workshops, and institutional activities. His academic involvement, research guidance, and commitment to higher education have contributed substantially to the development of students, research scholars, and the academic community.
